10 November 2006 - LPS Prizegiving

The Hon. Paulo Ralulu, Minister of State Education TVET (Technical, Vocational Education Training) accepted the School Principal's invitation to be Chief Guest at the prize giving on Friday 10th November. Following several meetings with BOG Member and Marist classmate, Manasa Baravilala, Minister Ralulu was expected to make two major announcements on government initiatives to benefit LPS during this visit.
Hon. Paulo Ralulu is a former student of St Johns College, Cawaci, and Marist Brothers High School Suva, and graduated with a BA and Masters Degrees. He was an educator and a Reserve Bank of Fiji executive before entering politics in 2006. He will also visit Cawaci on this trip.
This is the first time in the school's history that we have had a senior government official at this level attend the school as Chief Guest for our prize giving ceremony.
