Message from the Webmistress
Hi All
Well another Anniversary has come and gone. Huge thanks go out to all of those hard working people who made this another reunion to remember.
- to Mathew Robinson and his crew who again worked tirelessly to produce the perfect Programme
- George Patterson and Patterson Brothers for getting everyone safely to Levuka and on time
- Queenie Wong, who was one of the chief organisers of the birthday celebrations for Joy Clark and George Gibson
- Suliana Sandys and her hardworking teams in Levuka, who made sure that everyone was catered for and that everything ran smoothly from the time the guests arrived
- to the families who gave freely of their time to help with the mammoth task of catering for the functions, thanks for the brilliant effort
- the ex-scholars who travelled thousands of miles from around the globe, thank you for the continued interest that you show in the school and for your kind and thoughtful donations
- to the generous donors who wish to remain anonymous
- the ex-scholars who travelled across the water from around Viti and Vanua Levu, thank you for taking time out from your busy schedules to spend time and share your experiences with the current students of the school
- the Principal, teachers and students of the school who hosted and provided entertainment for all the visitors
I would also like to acknowledge all the families and individuals who hosted our overseas/local guests, before, during and after the celebrations, and last but not least, a huge thanks to the ex-scholars who live in and around Levuka town, whose children still attend the school and who keep the memories of this great school alive. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you
If I have forgotten you on this list please accept my apologies, it wasnt intentional.
Make your way to the 130th Anniversary tab to read all about it.
I didnt go this time but I definitely enjoyed reading all about Levuka and Levuka Public School during the celebrations. If you have a story to tell please email me.
Regards
Dianne
